Space Storms: Golden Dragonfly (Acrylic Pour)

Our acrylic pour coasters are made with love, each one totally unique. Each 4x4 ceremaic tile is painted with a unique design, and then coated in industrial grade resin and given a cork bottom. 

The Space Storms Series

The space storms series are inspired by the fact that I love the way these look like lightning storms of bright colors splaying out across the darkness of space. Sometimes they have whispy nebula feels, but sometimes they feel like the violence of an explosion.

On my childhood beach in Maine, we used to have these massive dragonflies that were a shimmery teal and green and gold. This tile reminds me of their wings, and how they'd glint so golden in the sunlight. (While I was running screaming from them. Did I mention they were huge?)

The coasters are *not* dishwasher safe, but can be wiped down with a wet cloth and a tiny bit of soap. Try not to get the cork part too wet. The resin can withstand the heat of your average cup of tea or coffee, but don't use it as a trivet for hot dishes.
